In Terms With God

Return and go to God in repentance. 

Come before Him in Christ Jesus.

Forget the former things, Do not dwell on the past.

Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together;

state the case for your innocence. (Isa.43:18,26)

TODAY!!! Not Tomorrow

O! How merciful and patient is our God, faithfully waiting  for the
children of man to come to him, and to bring themselves to repentance.

He again fixes a certain day, "TODAY," saying through David after
so long a time just as have been said before, "Today if you hear his
voice, do not harden your hearts. (Heb.4:7)

Isaiah 30:18
Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts
himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him.

Do not be stubborn, do not grieve his Holy Spirit. Do not wait until tomorrow,
for you do not know what tomorrow brings, it may be too late and have die
without repentance without Jesus Christ in your heart.
Those who does not have the Son of God will not have life. (1John5:12)
Don't make excuses saying, "I have plenty of days and times to repent."
Your "NOT NOW" will cause your life in jeopardy, as you may not know,
suddenly you are taken away on this earth. So do not wait DO IT NOW!!!

God makes everything ready, the Wedding Banquet is ready. (Mathew22:2-13)
God is inviting everyone...who would come.
Do not let God find you without a wedding clothes, it means without Christ in you,
our Savior in this life.
And without Christ inviting Him into your heart, you will be cast out into the outer
darkness. The place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (v.11-14)

Your salvation depends entirely in your own hands, your own will to humble
yourself before God and be at peace with Him.
God is Merciful and a forgiving God, only confess what you have done!
Believe in the saving power works that Jesus has done for you on the cross.

God's Righteouness/ A Pardon Sinner

In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.
(Isa.30:15)
God's pardoning grace is God'd gift of mercy to us.
Do not rely in your own strength or in your own works of righteousness,
but in God's power.
As Jesus taught the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax collector.

Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other
a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:
"God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers,
 adulteters or even like this tax collector, I fast twice a week and give
 a tenth of all I get." But the tax collector stood at a distance.
 He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,
"God have mercy on me, a sinner."
'I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God.
    (Luke 18:9-13)

Do not go to any man to confess your sin, go directly to God for mercy and
forgiveness and received Jesus Christ whom God sent for our salvation to make peace.
The only way to escape the coming wrath of God that is to come.
All it matters to God is your penitent heart.

Jesus Christ /The Pearl Of Great Price

Jesus Christ is the Pearl of great Price. Once the believers got hold of Him
and embraced his mercy and His salvation, he or she will get rid of everything
to serve and follow Him. His words and His desires are precious to them.
knowing that in Him alone is the hope and the salvation of mankind.
They were happy to be counted among his people; ready to be taught
by His Holy Spirit. Because in Him was LIFE. (John1:4)

God's desire for us is to continue to lived and walked in Him, to engaged in
His works. To spread His love and to bring mankind into salvation.
To bear good fruits, so that in all things we may works together for the glory
of God.

The Light of His Gospel

           The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul:
           The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
           The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart:
           The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
           The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgments
           of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether. 
           more to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold:
           sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 
           Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping them
           there is great reward. (Psa.19:7-11)

We must get a new heart and a new spirit. (Ezek.36:26)
We must be broken, cleanse from within by His Holy Spirit.
Look of what Jesus Christ has done for us on the Cross.
Because of our sins that separate us from God, now that he has reconciled us
by Christ's physical body through death to present us to himself to be holy in his sight.
(Col.1:22)

But it is beause of him that you are in Christ Jesus who has become for us wisdom
from God--that is our righteousness, holiness and redemption. (1Cor.1:30)

Through Jesus therefore, let us continually offe to God a sacrifice
of praise, the fruit of lips that confess His name. (Heb.13:15)

Fear the Lord your God nd serve him. Hold fast to him and take your
oaths in his name. He is ypur praise; he is your God...

May God bless you and that you will soon welcome Him to dwell in your hearts.

Hold Your Peace

It's important for us to set up time to be alone with the Lord.
God wants his children to come to him, to talk and walk with him,
   to meditate on His goodness.
Find a quiet place, where there is no distraction, go for a nice drive out
 in a country, or a trip to the mountain etc., or even in your home.

We can pour out our hearts to God and tell Him what is troubling us,
   or how's your days go. Talk to Him as your friend.
God loves to hear us and to come to him in prayer and comfort.
God give us a sense of peace in His pesence, and the joy and
  the assurance God has promised when we put God first in our lives.

In my own experience when I devote a quality time to God.
God blessed me with His peace and somehow the Holy Spirit will put songs
  of  praise in my heart and start singing and praised God.
It makes my day lighter and refreshed. So let us make our goal to devote ourselves
   quality time with our Lord. For Blessings, peace and comfort comes from Him.

                    "Yes, Lord, in your presence there is fulness of joy; at your right hand are
                      pleasures forevermore."  (Psa.16:11)

Our Divine Protector

Psalm 91:1-6
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow
   of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God,
  in whom I trust."
Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the
   deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings
   you will find refuge;
His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
   nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague
   that destroy at midday.

These are the promises of God to us. If we put our trust in him, no matter what trials we face.
God is in control. The best weapon is to PRAY and TRUST in Him.
Let say it with me, "I still will praise you."
And like David said, "I have set the Lord always before me; because
he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."  (Psa.16:8)

The Light Upon Our Feet

Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick,

For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Luke5:31

Future Resolution

As we are entering a New Year of 2016, we need to weigh carefully our resolutes
to make a descion that will have a future value to our soul from our life here on earth.
Becuase I do believe we have a future life and hope in Jesus Christ our Lord.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins
of the whole world. (1John2:2 )
God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. (Rom3:25)
He is God's gift for us, (Rom.6:23) "For the wages of sin is death, but the the gift of God
is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The time is short! What were you focusing your life to? Did you make a decision
 to received Him in your life? Do not Him, God is ready to accept you the minute
 you invite Him into your heart. God will not disappoint you, God will rescue you
 and forgive you. God is a God of mercy, love, patience and kind. (2Cor.6:2)

"If you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion."
  (Heb.3:15)

 Consider the time..."The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber,
                                   because our salvation is nearer now that what we first believed.
                                   The night is nearly over, the day is almost here. (Rom.13:11)

We may also remember the remarkable preaching of Jonathan Edwards as a warning
for poor sinners: "Now God stands ready to pity you, this is a day of mercy,
you may cry now with some encouragement of obtaining mercy; but when once
the day of mercy is past, our most lamentable and dolorous cries and shrieks will be
in vain, you will be wholly lost and thrown away of God, as to any regard to your
welfare; God will have no other use to put you to, but only to suffer misery,
you shall be continued in being to no other end; for you will be a vessel wrath fitted
to destruction, and there will be no other use of this vessel, but only to be filled full
of wrath: God will be so far from pitying you when you cry to him, that 'tis said he
will only laugh and mock."
  (Prov.1:25-26)
So do you believe that there is heaven and hell? If you do not want to spend
your soul to everlasting torment, it is reserved to those who rejects this message.
There is no other salvation on earth that can rescue us, in Christ Jesus you will
be saved. (Acts4:12)

Don't let the grace of God passed by you! And you'll be sorry begging. There is
no second chances. After we die we will face judgment, and it is a fearful thing to fall
into the hands of the Living God. (Heb.9:23,10:31)

God's Gracious Covenat of Peace/ A Blessings To All

God renewed a covenant with his people Israel through Moses before entering
the promised land that God had promised to their ancestors.

"You are standing here in order to enter into a covenant with the Lord your God,
 a covenant the Lord is making with you this day and sealing with an oath,
 to confirm you this day as his people, that he may be your God as he promised you
 and as he swore to your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
 I am making this covenant, with its oath, not only with you who are standing here
 with us today in the presence of the Lord our God but also with those
WHO ARE NOT HERE TODAY.

Not only God had spoken to his people Israel about the promised that they will be
God's people, but also to us all, who will also inherit this blessings given to Abraham.
"I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky
 and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities
 of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed,
 because you have obeyed me. (Gen.22:17,Gal.3:7-9,26-29,4:28-31)

Paul clearly stated that covenant promised for us all.
(Rom.4:10-12)
Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised,
or before? It was not after, but before! And he received circumcision as a sign,
a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised.
So then, he is the father of all who believe but not have been circumcised,
in order that righteousness might be credited to them.
And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised
but also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before
he was circumcised.

It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise
that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes
by faith. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace
and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring--not only to those who are
of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham.
He is the father of us all. As it is written: "I have made you a father of many
nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed.
(v.13,16-17)

This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." The words "it was
credited to him" were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom
God will credit righteousness--for us who believe in him who raised Jesus
our Lord from the dead.
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
(v.22-25 read also Rom.9:22-26)

You see, we  are in God's mind; God continued to provide a way for bringing us
to himself not only for his people Israel but also for us...who are the outsiders.
(uncircumcised, Gentiles)
And to restore what Satan had stolen in the beginning when God created Adam
and Eve and disobeyed God in the garden; our relationship with God.

This could only be received if we believe in God and believe in his Son Jesus Christ
whom God sent for us, John 3:16
    "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
     believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life."
    
     Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God
     does not have life. (1John5:12)

Worthy is the Lamb

When I was reading 1Samuel 6:20 it says, "Who can stand in the presence
of the Lord, this holy God?
The words rang into my ears and led me to looked up Revelation 5
"Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?"
  But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll
  or look inside.  (v.2-5)
  Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep!" See, the Lion of the tribe
  of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll
  and its seven seals."
  Wow! What a great passage of the Scripture is this! Another mystery word
  in reference to Jesus Christ!
  Revelation 5:9, And they sing a new song:
                  "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,
                   because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men
                   for God from every tribe and language and people and nation."

                 "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth
                  and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" (v.12)
         
  
 
Jesus Christ, the Great High Priest!
Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and
again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down
at the right hand of God. Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made
his footstool, because by the one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those
who are being made holy. (Hebrew 10:11-14)

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,
Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our
weaknesses, but we have one who has been temped in every way,
just as we are--yet was without sin.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may
receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Heb.4:14-16)

The Feeding of Thousands...The Bread of Life!

Rerun my favorite scene of Jesus of Nazareth, when Jesus feeds the five thousands...
and Mary Magdalene came to see who Jesus was that she heard from among her people.
Mary has desperate needs. She is tired of her old lifestyle, she wants to escaped from
the shameful ways of her livelihood. She gave up hope of making her life better or
anything good will come out of Israel. People judged and ridiculed her.
So she showed up to see who Jesus was.When she saw Jesus and His miracles
of feeding the people with fish and bread she breakdown in tears and overjoyed.
At last, she found Him, the hope and the life that only Jesus can fill.
She clings to Jesus all the rest of her life.
What a great example of a woman like her! She found her Lord and Master.

Jesus did not judge her. He forgave her. God looks at the heart!
Jesus said, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners for repentance."
And Jesus will do the same for you and me. Remember the time when you
received Him?
What you had been through before receiving Jesus Christ into your heart...
only what matters to God is your heart!
He is the Bread of Life...God's provided redemption fulfillment, the "manna"
symbolized Jesus Christ, the Bread of God.
The Israelites when they came out of Egypt and pitched their tents and camped
at the desert, see Exodus 16:4,13-15
In John 6:32-35, Jesus said to them, "Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses
who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true
bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven
and gives life to the world.
They said to him, "Sir, give us this bread always." Jesus said to them,
 'I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
 and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

May you have a blessed Easter and fruitful life in Him and to celebrate Jesus'
life and his death for delivering us from our sins to give us this gift of eternal life!

He Lives!

God has promised us that He will be with us always, He will never leave us or abandon us.

Let's read Acts 1:1-11

In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach,

until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the

Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.  After his suffering, he presented himself to them

and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive.

He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command:

‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard

 me speak about.  For John baptised with water, but in a few days you will be baptised with

 the Holy Spirit.’

 Then they gathered round him and asked him, ‘Lord, are you at this time going to restore the
 kingdom to Israel?’
  He said to them: ‘It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own
 authority.  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be
 my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’

 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed

 in white stood beside them. ‘Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why do you stand here looking into

 the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same

 way you have seen him go into heaven.’





 

What a promised God has left us with, His presence and His Holy Spirit!

God is not dead as the new movie declared and the title that bears that name on play

in the theater now. He lives among us and this is what we speak and we should

proclaim as we come to tell individual about our Lord. Celebrating His Resurrection body,

the central of our message.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Incarnate Son of God

God came to us in a flesh, in human form to make known to us God's redemptive plan of
salvation to mankind. Jesus who came from the Father, preached and revealed to us the
Words of God. Jesus is the minister of a New Covenant and a Great High Priest.
(Heb.4:14,8:6-13)

God has put an end to the many sacrifices the priests had to performs daily and annually
for the remissions of sins the Israeliets had committed.
(Heb.7:18-22) The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless
(for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced by which we draw near
to God. And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath,
but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
        "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.'
        "Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

  One who has become a priest, not on the basis of the regulation as to his ancestry
  but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. (v.16)


  Day after day every priests stands and performs his religious duties again and again
  he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
  But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the
  right hand of God and since that time he waits for his enemeis to be made his footstool.
  For by one sacrifice he has made perfect, forever those who are being made holy.
  (Heb.10:11-13)

  The gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the
  worshiper. They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings,
  external regulations applying until the time of the new order.  (9:9-10)
  But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls
  and goats to take away sins. (10:3-4)

   When Christ came as high priest of the good things that already here, he went through
   the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, is not a
   part of this creation.
   He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most
   Holy Place once for all, by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. (9:11-12)

   For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may
   receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom to set them
   free drom the sins committed under the first covenant. (v.16)

   We have an altar from which those who minister at te tabernacle have no right to eat.
   Who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set by the Lord, not by man. (13:10,8:2)

   So this is the story of Easter, Jesus who came down from heaven and His purpose
   is to suffer and to die for our sins so that we can enter to God and have life through Him.
   But God did not abandon us God raised Jesus to life!
   God is the last Adam, the new mediator of the New covenant, He has opened a new
   way for us so that we can enter through a loving and a new relationship to God.

  Think of the CROSS that Jesus has provided for us. He fullfilled it!
  Jesus is the one whom God appointed to intercede for us.
  So let's put our sin behind us and confess it to Him and enter a new life in Him.
  You do not need to confess your sins to anybody but we have One and only
  designated Priest by God and into Him we must confess. 
  May God bless you and pray that you made your decision to ask God to be the Lord
  and Savior of your life!

The Blind Eyes Opened

(Romans 7:9-13)
Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life
and I died. I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually
brought death.  For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment,
deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.  So then, the law is holy,
the commandment is holy, righteous and good.
Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order
that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death,
so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.

This is Paul of Tarsus, realizing his wrongful action after God has called him to serve 
Him to preach to the Gentiles.
Before he met the Lord Jesus Christ, Paul was grudgingly went after the disciples of Jesus
Christ and all the Christians. He went from house to house in searched of them, bring them
to prison and executed them.
Paul thinks what he was doing, he was making God a favor and that his intentions was right,
but God has a plan for Paul in correcting him. Paul had an unforgetable encounter with
the Lord Jeus Christ on his way to Damascus Road while going after the followers of the Way. 
This is where Jesus revealed himself to Paul, teaching everything he needs to learn about 
God in serving Him.   (Read Acts 9:1-22)

God opened Paul's eyes to the truth to showed him that what once crooked of Paul's mind,
God makes it straight as Isaiah 55:8 say,  
    For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

God will help us to open our eyes to the truth if we invite Him in into our lives.
We all have our own inderstading who we are and what we think is right, doing our own
desires that pleased us that it actually bring death to us.
But God in His grace has given us His Son Jesus Christ so that through him we may
become His.
(Rom.8:10-11)
If Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of
righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead is living
in you, He who raised  Christ from the dead will also give to your mortal bodies through
his Spirit who lives in you.





 

Searching In A Wrong Places?

Is this wordly things can satisfy our soul?
The materials things of this world, the craving of our eyes, the desires of wanting more
to ourselves...are all these are valuable in your life?
God had warned the people of Israel and will take away the blessings from them
if they disobey Him and living a life of sin.
(Micah 6:14-15)
You will eat but not satisfied; your stomach will still be empty.
You will store up but save nothing, because what you save I will give to the sword.
You will plant but not harvest; you will press olives but not use the oil on yourselves,
you will crush grapes but not drink the wine.

If we keep looking for what can make us happy and never found it, we may become
frustrated, a failure and miserable creature. We looked for vain and exhausted.

Did you know that Jesus Christ is the only One that can give us contenment and
satisfy our soul?
"With joy you will draw water from the well of salvation."  (Isaiah 12:3)

Our frustration and our failures will actually lead us to Christ...and it is a blessings indeed!
"Godly sorrow bring repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but wordly
  sorrow brings death." (2Corinthians 7:10)

We should not look further and search for what can satisfy us. Jesus our Lord and our
Savior are standing at the door ready to receive us...if we let Him. (Revelation 3:20)

And Jesus said He is the Bread of Life.  (John 6:35)
"I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who
 believes in me will never be thisty.
"I am the bread that came down from heaven." (v.41)
  I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. I am the bread of life.
  Here is the bread from heaven, which a man may eat and not die.
  I am the "Living Bread" that came down from heaven, if anyone eats of this bread,
  he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
  For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
  (v.47-51,33)
  Whoever eats my fleah and drink my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at
  the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
  Whoever eats my fleah and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds
  on me will live because of me. (v.54-57)

Let's take it to heart what God offered for us and a promising of eternal life through
His Son and of continuing living in Him.

Father, God we come before you and offer our cares and our concerned of this world
to you at the feet of the Cross. We want to put you first out of everything and put right
our standing position in you. Filled us conitnually with the Bread of heaven. Amen. 

Sanctuary

In that day I will restore David's fallen tent.
I will repair its broken places, restore its ruins,
and build it as it used to be, so that they may posses the remnant of Edom
and all the nations that bear my Name," declares the Lord, who will do these things.
(Amos 9:11)

"New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from the hills."  (V.13)

And in the New Testament this "wine" represents Jesus Christ who died on the
Cross for us, for the forgiveness of sins so that we will have eternal life.
It is the covenant of remembrance of His blood that we partake and participate
in communion with Him as children of God.

The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had
given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this
in remembrance of me."
In the same way, after suffer he took the cup, saying,
"This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it,
 in remembrance of me."
For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's
death until he comes.  (1Corinthians 11:23-27,15:3-8, Mat.14:22-25)

Christ is the new meditor of a new covenant, that those who are called
may received the promised eternal inheritance.  (Hebrew 9:15)

The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless
(for the law made nothing perpect), and a better hope is introduced,
by which we draw near to God  (Heb.7:18-19)

...One who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry
   but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.  (Heb.7:16)

...And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath,
   but he became a priest with an oath when God said to Him:
     "The Lord had sworn and will not change his mind: You are a priest forever."
                (v.20-21)
  Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. (v.22)

Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from
continuing their duties; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him,
because he always lives to intercede for them.  (v.23-25)

Such a high priest meets our need--one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from
sinners, exalted above the heavens.
Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day,
first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people.
He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. 
For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came
after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.  (v.26-28)

We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the
Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up
by the Lord, not by man.  (Heb.9:1-2)

The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are
ceremonially unclean sanctified them so that they are outwardly clean.
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead
to death, so that we may serve the living God!  (Heb.9:13-14)

For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one;
he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence.
Nor did he enter heaven to offer himsdelf again and again, the way the high priest
enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.
Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world.
But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin
by the sacrifice of himself. 
Just as a man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people;
and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those
who are waiting for him.  (v.24-28,10:1-8)

Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will."
He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made
holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.
(Heb.10:9-10,8:13)

Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties;
again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins,
he sat down at the right hand of God. Since that time he waits for his enemies
to be made his footstool, because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever
those who are being made holy.  (v.11-14)

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:
    "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord.
      I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.
     Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."  (v.15-18,8:7-12,Jer.31:33)
And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.

What a great news and a better promises of God! God has drew us closely to Himself
in behalf of His Son Jesus Christ as our Mediator, Priest. Amen!
 
   (Heb.10:20-22)
...By a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is his body,
   and since we have a great priest over the house of God, Let us draw near to God
   with a sincere heart and with a full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled
   to cleanse us from agulity conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
   












     

The Token Of His Love

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you

used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler
of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are
disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the
cravings of our sinful desires. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.
... But because of his great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, MADE US ALIVE
WITH CHRIST even when we were dead in our transgressions--
IT IS BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED. And God raised us up with Christ
and seated with Him in the heaveny realms in Christ Jesus.
FOR IT IS BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED, THROUGH FAITH--

and this is not from yourselves, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD--NOT BY WORKS,

SO THAT NO ONE CAN BOAST. (Ephesians 2:1-9)  

THANK YOU VERY MUCH GOD FOR THIS WONDERFUL GIFT OF YOUR
SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST.

 

I pray that those who received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will continue to walk

and lived in Him.

Reflects on what God has done for you, all the good things He has delivered you from...

your bondage, failures, doubtfulness etch...

So the, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him,
rooted and built up in Him, strengthed in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing
with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7)
 

As we continue to grow in Christ we are like a new growth plant that appears in due
season. Amen! 

 

 

Who Are the Children of God?

Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke

the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed.

They would say, "In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches,

I command you to come out."

Seven sons of Sceya, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.

One day, the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know

about Paul, but who are you?"

Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered

them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked

and bleeding. 

When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus,

they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.

(Acts 19:13-17)

 

"Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, BUT WHO ARE YOU?"
  (v.15)
In this passage of the Scriptures "WHO ARE YOU?"
In this case scenario it means that the devil doesn't know anything
about these people, the false witnesses of God, because they do not
have the Spirit of Christ in them.
Have you thought about this verse? The Devil knows more about
Gods people (those who received Christ and Lord of their lives)
more than the lost, rebellious, or wicked person.
So the devil actually focusing more on the people of God,
the devil know you more, your name. You are his target, concentrating
more and chased after those people who are in God's business. Be aware!
(1Peter 4:8-9)
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like
a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him standing firm in the faith.

 

Watch out also that those who called themselves Christians are not all Christians,

Those who are religious (showy, actors like the Pharisees) and not having the

Spirit of God in them, only human made effort.

Jesus said in Mathew 7:21-23

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, 

  but only HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER who is in heaven.

  Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name

  and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 

  The I will tell them plainly, 'I NEVER KNEW YOU. AWAY FROM ME YOU

   EVILDOERS!"

 

So Let's regard the name of the Lord with high honor, respect and in fear as the

people in Ephesus learned and heard about in verse 17...

They were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.

The most important lesson to learn about in this chapter is our true relationship

with the Lord. Those who hear God's voice and obey are his people! 

"I KNOW MY SHEEP AND MY SHEEP KNOW ME."  (John 10:14)

 

Weigh Your Hearts

Where do you base your security on?
Do you have a possession that you hold so dearly and you won't let it go?
Do you love your career, blooming business, money, fancy car, luxury house, etc...
although there is nothing wrong with all of this material possessions as long
as you are humble and not forgetting about God and you may say to yourself,
"My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.
 But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability 
 to produce wealth.
 (Deuteronomy 9:17-18)

Let us learn from what happened to King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon
when his heart was proud and how God deals with Him?

(Daniel 4:29-34)
As the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, he said,
"Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, 
 by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?"
The words were still on his lips when a voice came from heaven,
"This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar:
 Your royal authority has been taken from you. You will be driven away from
 people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle.
 Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High
 is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes."

Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled.
He was driven away from people and ate grass like cattle.
His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like
the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.
At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven,
and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and
glorified him who lives forever.
...At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor
  were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom.
  My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne
  and became greater than before.
  Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven,
  because everything he does is right and all his ways are just.
  And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.  (v.36-37)

 on how this came about what happened to Nebuchadnezzar comes true).

Isn't the Proverbs 30:8-9 say,
"Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, 
 but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and 
 disown you and say, "'Who is the Lord?'
Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.

So be careful and don't let your heart be proud but fear God..
