The Greatness Of God

How Great Is Our God

Who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength.
Who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil
  of the nations.

For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.
They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths;
  in their peril their courage melted away. They reeled and staggere like
 drunken men; they were at their wit's end.
 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.
 (Psalms 65:6-7,107:25-27,29)

At your rebuke the waters fled, at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
They flowed over the mountain, they went down into the valleys, to the place
you assigned for them.
You set a boundary they cannot crosss; never again will they cover the earth.
(Psalms104:7-9)

When He thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; He makes clouds rise from the
ends of the earth.
He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.
When He is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.
(Jer.51:16,10:10)

The mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth,
from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.
From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.  (Psalms 50:1-2)
