The Hearts of the Father

Do you sometimes wonder why God is taking so long to return?
Perhaps the reason is that He is still seeking the lost, patiently waiting for people
to come to repentance.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.
He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
(2Pet.3:9)

But each of us is responsible for our own soul.
God has given us two options: to accept the saving power of His grace and His
forgiveness, or to go our own way.
(read Deut.24:16)

God declared, "Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your
downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart
and a new spirit. (Ezekiel 18:30-31)
For I take no pleasure on the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord.
Repent and live. (v.32)
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord.
Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?  (v.23)

God is merciful, faithful, and long suffering
This is what the heart of the Father is:

Who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.  (1Tim.2:4)

Your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost. (Mat.18:14)

If only all men would come to him for his salvation!

The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer
now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.
(Rom.13:11-12)

Give glory to the Lord your God before He brings the darkness, before your feet stumble
on the darkening hills.  (Jer.13:16)

* Continue to pray for your love ones who needs God's salvation.
