The Living Word

For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the
thoughts and attitudes of the heart.  (Heb.4:12)

The Words of God are Life. It feeds us, teaches us, corrects us, and helps us to discern
where He is leading us...as we study and apply His Words in our daily lives.
Read 1Timothy 3:16-17

When we become a Christian we are thirsty and hungry for the words of God to fill us
with His presence and His blessings.

When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart's delight,
for I bear your name, O Lord God Almighty.  (Jer.15:16)

Choosing God is Life. When Jesus talks to a Samaritan women he says in John 4:14
Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed the water I give him
will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. 


As we continue to seek God, He will reveal himself to us.
There is no problem that God cannot solve in our life!
He delights to see his children come to Him and to trust Him.

"There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides in the heavens to help you
 and on the clouds in His majesty. The eternal God is your refuge and underneath
 are the everlasting arms."  (Deut.33:26-27, Heb.4:16)

We can trust in His Words and His Promises!

The words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified 
seven times. (Psalms12:6)

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.  (Psalms 37:4)

Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like  showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.  (Deut.32:2)

For it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on 
your lips. So that your trust may be in the Lord, I teach you today, even you.
(Proverbs 22:18-19)
