Desiring God

The greatest endeavor to pursue is to desire God in our lives.
What an awesome feeling it was when we received Christ. We felt joy and peace,
as our burdens were lifted up. We became eager to serve Him and  hungered
for His divine intervention in every aspect of our lives.

The Scriptures speak regarding those who hunger and desire God.
I pray that God will continually fill you with his wonderful knowledge as you seek Him.

* When your words came, I ate them; there were my joy and my heart's delight,
for I bear your name, O Lord God Almighty.  (Jeremiah 15:16)

* I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory,
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods, with singing lips
my mouth will praise you.  (Psalms 63:2-5)

* How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty!
   My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.  (84:1-3,42:2,63:1)

* My hearts says of you, "Seek His face!" Your face, O Lord, I will seek!
I said to the Lord, "You are my Lord," apart from you, I have no good thing.
   (27:8, 16:2)
* Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my hearts may fail, but the Lord is the strength of my heart and
  my portion forever.  (73:28)

* The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousand pieces of
   silver and gold.  (Psalms 119:72)
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (103)
Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold.  (127)
I gain understanding from your precepts therefore I hate every wrong path.  (104)
And because I consider all your precepts right.  (128)
Your status are wonderful; therefore I obey them. (129)

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
I open my mouth and pant,  longing for your commands.
   (130-131)

YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET AND
  A LIGHT FOR  MY PATH.  (105) (24)(19-7-11)

"Lord, If You Are Willing, You Can Make Me Clean."

Have you received Christ yet? After hearing the word of the gospel that can save you,
are you are still refusing to let God rescue you from the sin that separates you from Him?
You  might be thinking to yourself, "I committed a great sin in my life, and I don't think
God will forgive me for all the things I have done. I am not worthy to receive His
forgiveness.

But these thoughts are just the lies of Satan...to blind your eyes from seeing the
salvation that came through Jesus Christ?
But God is merciful and will forgive all your sin, He wants you to confess and ask
for His forgiveness and have faith in His name.  (John 14:16)

Do you know that the reason Jesus came here on earth, is to save sinners?
Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come
to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."  (Luke 5:31)

God provided a way for us to be saved. This was proclaimed in Isaiah 43:18-19
"Forget the former things do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert and streams in a wasteland.
 (read also Isa.41:2-6, 25-27, 42:1-4)

The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are
parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not
forsake them.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.
(Isaiah 41:17-18)

Then God spoke about this coming salvation through his Son Jesus Christ,
(Isaiah 42:6-7)
I, The Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a
Light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

So lets put the past behind us and go to Him and ask, "Lord, if you are willing,
You can make me clean." And Jesus will respond by saying, "I am willing, be clean."
(Luke 5:12-13)

The Parable Of The Sower

" HE WHO HAS EARS, LET HIM HEAR."

"A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along
the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not
have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.
But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they
had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants,
so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced
a crop,a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.  (Mathew 13:3-8)

The Parable of the Sower explained:
When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it,
the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed
sown along the PATH. The one who received the seed that fell on ROCKY places
is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution
comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.
The one who received the seed that fell among the THORNS is the man who hears
the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it,
making it unfruitful. But the one who received the seed that fell on GOOD SOIL
is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop,
yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.  (v.19-23)
read also Mark 4:3-8,14-20

                                                           PATH

1. PATH --Satan snatches away the seed that was sown. Whatever you believe
about the Lord Jesus and his gospel of truth, the devil is trying to steal
from your heart to deceive you, causing you to doubt  God.
As Paul says in (2Cor.11:3-4) (read also 2Tim.1:12,3:14-17)
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's
cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your
sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you
and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached,
or if you receive a different spirit from the one you accepted,
YOU PUT UP WITH IT EASILY ENOUGH.

                                                          ROCKS

2. ROCKY --NO ROOT
You could allow ostracism from your family, relatives or friends to
destroy your good relationship with Christ. They might insult you,
curse you, or threaten to exclude you because of your faith,
but you must be strong in your conviciton.
                     Jesus says in (Mat.10:37)
"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not
worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than
me is not worthy of me."

                                                 THORNS

3. THORNS -- The worries of life, deceitfulness of wealth, desires for other things
that you idolize...money, pleasure, friends, career, sports...or anything
that you love more than God. (Mathew 6:24)
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love
the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve both God and money.

What about some crisis that severely affected you, and caused you to
                        doubt the promises of God?

                                                            GOOD SOIL

4. GOOD SOIL -- Produce a crop/ Multiply
This is the soil that we need our hearts planted in. We want to yield
a bountiful crop for our Lord. We can do this by continuing to believe
and practice what we have learned.
And no matter what we hear from outside sources or from the enemy,
always guard our hearts with the truth of  God's words so that we will
not be moved from trusting Him.
Prayer with the help of the Holy Spirit is the best weapon to have
                        victory in our daily walk.
Many blessing are in store for those who faithfully serve Him.

Jesus said, "I will show you what he is like who comes to me
and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like
a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid a
foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck
that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
(remember the children's book, entitled, "The Three Little Pigs.")
                       (Luke 6:47-48-49, Mat.7:24-27, James 1:25)
But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice
is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation.
The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its
                       destruction was complete.

* Let's Examine the condition of our hearts. Which soil is your heart planted in?
Are you in good soil, or are you struggling to produce good fruit because of bad soil?
Write down the list that occupy the most of your time instead of God....
   _________________________________________________________________ .
Pray and surrender it to God. Ask Him to help you to be victorious in your struggle
to put away things that keep you from bearing fruit for Him.
   (read Heb.12:4-6)

Ruler Of All Creation/ There Is No One Like You

The Lord is exalted over all the nations, His glory above the heavens.
Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,
Who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
(Psalms 113:4-6)

For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.
(18:31,86:8)
Your ways , O God, are holy, What god is so great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the
peoples.  (77:13-14, Job 5:9)

Since ancient times no one has heard, nor ear has perceived, no eye has seen
any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.
You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways.
(64:4-5)

You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in his distress,
a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat.  (Isaiah.25:4)
A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.
(68:5,10:14,17-18)

Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies
themselves send down showers? No, it is you, O Lord our God.
Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the One who does all this.
(Jeremiah.14:22, Psalms 68:7-10)

I am the Lord, and there is no other, apart from me there is no God.
So that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is
none beside me.
I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the Lord, have created it.  (Isaiah 45:5-7,44:1-3,5-8,47:3)

The heavens praise your wonders, O Lord, your faithfulness too, in the assembly
of the holy ones. For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?
Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?
In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; He is more awesome than
all who surround Him. O Lord God Almighty, who is like you?
You are mighty, O Lord, and your faithfulness surrounds you.  (Psalms 89:5-8)

I took this shot, what a beautiful picture of the sky!

God's Love/ You Were In His Mind

When you were dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,
GOD MADE YOU ALIVE WITH CHRIST. HE FORGAVE US ALL OUR SINS,
having cancelled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood
opposed to us; He took it way, NAILING IT TO THE CROSS.
And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them,

TRIUMPHING OVER THEM BY THE CROSS.  (Colossians 2:13-15, Eph.2:4-5)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich,
yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become
rich.  (2Cor.8:9)

For He has rescued us  from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the
kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness
of sins (Col.1:13)

This is how God showed his love among us:
He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.
This is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an
atoning sacrifice for our sins. (1John.4:9-10,16,19)

In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ,
in accordance with his pleasure and will--to the praise of his glorious grace,
which he has freely given us in the One he loves.  (Ephesians 1:5-6)

In him we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins,
in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom
and understanding.  (v.7-8)

You see, at just at the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the
ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man
someone might possibly dare to die.  (Rom.5:6-7)

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
WHILE  WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US. (V.8)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his One and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
(John 3:16,17,12:47, Mat.9:18)

To those who received Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Continually give thanks
to Him. Hold it dearly...It is precious!!!!

# Thank you Jesus for loving us and for dying for our sins... that you came down for us
to rescue us from the coming wrath. Your deepest desire for humanity is to be
with you in heaven, a place that was prepared for those who love you.
Let them accept your invitation for salvation that is only found through your Son
  Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ignorant are those who do not see This!

(I do not own this picture)
To whom I addressed this Scriptures to Atheists, Agnostics who are blind
and darkened by their own understanding; Here's what God says to those who
questions His works:

"Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?
(Job 38:2)

"Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?'
 declares the Lord.  (Isaiah 66:2)

Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.
The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes,
ever returning on its course. All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full.
To the place the streams come from, there they return again.  (Eccl.1:4-7)

What has been will be again, what had been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which one can say,
"Look! This is something new?" It was here already, long ago; it was here
 before our time. (v.9-10)

Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked?
(7:13)
Whatever exists has already been named, and what man is has been known.
(6:10)
What is twisted cannot be straightened; what is lacking cannot be counted.
(1:15)
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's
womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
(11:5)

Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds, how he thunders from his
pavilion? "See how he scattered his lightning about him, bathing the depths of
the sea.  (Job 36:29-30)

Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes his lightning flash?
Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of him who is perfect
in knowledge?  (37:15-16)

But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they
will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the
sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has
done this? In his hand is the Life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.
Amen!  (12:7-10)

The Sacrifice He Endured For Us On The Cross

But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example,
that you should follow in his steps.
"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."
      When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate;
when he suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He entrusted
Himself to him who judges justly.  (1Peter 2:20-23, Isaiah 53:9)
(I recommend reading all the passages Isaiah 53:1-12)

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins
and live for righteousness; BY HIS WOUNDS YOU HAVE BEEN HEALED.
For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd
and Overseer of your souls.  (1Pet.2:24-25)

A powerful song From Michael W Smith...I can't help sharing tears when I watched
this video, and I have been watching Jesus movies films before, but this one I
am moved with this song...thinking all that He endured for all of us!

Let's all remember what God did for us always. We Love you Lord Jesus Christ!!!
Blessings to you and Welcome to everyone who reclaimed Him as Your Lord of your Life.

I Exalt Thee...The Creator of the Universe!

Let's Exalt His Name And Give Him Praise in our midst!
Here's the you tube video song entitled; "I EXALT THEE."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arPrM8RCiyo

Who has measured the waters in the hallow of his hand, or with the breadth of
his hand marked off the heavens?
Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on
the scales and the hills in a balance?  (Isaiah 40:12)

Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.  (v.26)

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the Lord, do all these things.  (Isaiah 45:7)
It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it.
My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts. (v.12)
My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the
heavens; when I summon them, they all stand up together.  (Isaiah 48:13)

The day is yours, and yours also the night; You established the sun and moon
It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; You made both summer and winter.
Who gives autumn and spring rains in season.  (Psalms 74:16-17, Jeremiah 5:24)

What Is Wisdom?

Yes! I said it again...what is wisdom? First let's start from the scriptures  (1Cor.2)

No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that God destined for our glory
before time began.  (v.7)

None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified
the Lord of glory. However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, what God has
prepared for those who love him."  (v.8-9, Isaiah 64:4)

But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.  (v.10)
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we
may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak not in words
taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual
truths in spiritual words.  (v.12-13)
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of
God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they
are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but
he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?"
But we have the mind of Christ.  (v.14-16, Isaiah 40:13)

What is your interpretation of wisdom?
To me, to know God and to Fear Him... is wisdom!  (Prov.1:7, 9:10,15:33, Psalms 111:10)
Malachi 6:9 says, "TO FEAR YOUR NAME IS WISDOM!"

In Job 28:28, And he said to man, "The FEAR OF THE LORD--that is wisdom,
and to SHUN EVIL is understanding."  (Job 28:28)

If we really want to acquire wisdom, we must ask God for it as James 1:5 says:
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all
without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
(read also Prov.2:1-5,3:6, Job38:36)

I grew closer to God when He disciplined me for my mistakes.
"Okay God, I'm yours, I belong to you, I want to serve you,  I want to know who you
really are," I prayed. Then I joined the choir because I love singing to the the Lord.
 That was an amazing experience!

I'm glad to be part of the family of God! This is where I really learned and grew in
God's grace. We had a wonderful leader, who admonished us on how to be close
to God. She assigned each of us a day to give a devotion to the group before our
practices. I became worried that I would not have anything to share.
That's when I started asking God to give me wisdom...and help me know what to say!

God answered my prayer and  gave me a sense of confidence and excitement.
I could not wait to share it. Even though I was shy and nervous, God gave me strength
to deliver the message. When I finished sharing my testimony, my choir team was very
impressed on how well I had given my devotion! The choir leader even requested for me
to do it again soon because she really enjoyed it!
I am not trying to brag, but I really love sharing the experiences of God's teaching in
my life.
God is great! He gave me wisdom when I needed it most. The wisdom we need,
is the wisdom to know and Follow Christ.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
(Psalms37:4)

The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry.  (Prov.10:3)

For He satisfied  the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
(Psalms 107:9, 103:5, Luke 1:53)

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,
and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,
and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
Then you will understand the Fear f the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
(Proverb 2:1-5, Eccl.22:22)
For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and
understanding. (v.6) (Job 26:4,32:8,38:36)

Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have,
get understanding. Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," and call understanding
your "kinsman."  (4:7,7:4, Eccl. 2:26,6:2)

"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the riches
of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live.
 (Isaiah 55:1-3)

"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me,
as the Scriptures has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."
  (John 7:37-38)

* My prayer is that you may also walk in the richness of God's wisdom.

The Redeemed of the Lord

The ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing;
Everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.  (Isaiah 35:10)

When we give praise to God everyone has their own unique
form of worship. What kind of instruments do you use in praising God?
Some people may not know how to play... like me, I just use my voice
singing around my house, even in the bathroom.
All that matters to God is your heart. He is delighted even in simple things.
Your thanksgiving and joy!  (2Cor.9:7)

Praise God in his sanctuary; Praise him for his acts of power.
Praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpets,
Praise him with the harp and lyre, Praise him with tambourine and dancing,
Praise him with the strings and flute, Praise him with the clash of cymbals,
Praise him with the resounding cymbals, Let everything that has breath
praise the Lord.
Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.  (Psalms 150:1-6, 148 :1)

This you tube video I selected is entitled, "The Redeemed of the Lord."

Rekindle Your Passion

When we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we were renewed
from the inside. What a joy it was when we accepted Him into our lives!
It was an inexpressible joy and peace that we received from Him.
After God saved us He gave us a great privilege to serve Him, and to be a part
of his great mission to bring the good news of salvation to the lost.

...Loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved
through the sanctifying work of the Spirit  and through belief in the truth.
   (read Titus 3:3-7, 1Pet.1:2, Jer.1:5)

What an honor to serve the Lord Jesus! He has called us, purified us, and empowered
us by the holy spirit to do his works.  (Rom.8:29-30, (John 16:3-15)

# Are we still serving God with enthusiasm...as we were on the Day when we first
received His saving knowledge and grace?

# Are we living as we should be: as servants of Christ...not servants of ourselves?

# What about the worries and trials of this life: Do we allow circumstances to take us
away from God and His truth?

# Have we allowed Satan to make us doubt God's purpose for our life?

Here is what God says about keeping our devotion and love for him strong and alive:

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one
or the other. So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold --I am about to
spit you out of my mouth.  (Rev.3:15-16)

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.
Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you
did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand
from its place.  (Rev.2:4-5)

Do these scriptures apply to you? Examine yourself! If you do, then return to God.
We do not want our Lampstand to be taken away!
Read Mat.25:14-30 and Luke19:12-27

So Keep your Lamps Burning and "Continue the task God has entrusted to you."
(2Tim.1:14, 1Tim.6:20)

Words of Encouragement:
1. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. (Rom.12:11)

2. Serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches
every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts.  (1Chrn.28:9)

3. Do not put out the Spirit's fire.  (1Thes.5:19)

2. Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord.
    (Prov.23:17)

Jesus: The Light Of The World

Are you living in darkness, alone, confused? You grope like a blind man because it
seems you can't find your way out. Or maybe you have been living only for yourself.
Finally you have come to your senses and you want to get out of that hole.
You search to find an answer, but don't know who to turn to. But there is hope!
Our Savior Jesus Christ came to rescue us from our darkest hour!

Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come
to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the path of peace.  (Luke 1:78-79) (Psalms 118:27,97:11)
(Luk 2:32) (Acts 26:23)

The True Light that gives light to everyman was coming into the world.
(John 1:9)
"I Am the Light of the world. Whoever believes in me
will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
 (John 8:12)

I have come into the world as a Light, so that no one who believes in me should stay
in darkness.  (John 12:36) (1John1:9)

# Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior yet?
Are you still sitting in darkness and refusing to come to Him?
God wants you to come out of that darkness and come into the light of His Son
Jesus Christ. Do not think that God will not forgive you of your sins because
it is too great? These are the lies of satan! God will accept you if you give your
life to Him. Confess to God and ask for his forgiveness.
   (read Isa.60:1, Eph.5:13-14)

* And those who received Him. Let us continue to walk in the Light of the Lord.
   (Isa.2:5) (Psalms 4:6) (2Cor.4:6)

The People living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land
of the shadow of death a light has dawned.  (Mat. 4:16, Isa.9:2)

I Am the Resurrection and the Life

"I am the resurrection and the Life. He who believes
in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever
lives and believes in me will never die."
   (John 11:25)

Jesus Christ Picture 3001

LOVE JESUS...

The Kingdom of God Is Within You

Jesus the Lamb of God
"Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
(John 1:29, 36) (read also Heb.1:1-2, 14,John 1:45)
Did you know that it is really within you...within your grasp... THE KINGDOM OF GOD?!!
The kingdom of God is in you, the minute you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
It is the fruit of your salvation. God has saved and called people from all the nations to
accomplish his purpose and to draw people to Himself.

* He baptized them with the Holy Spirit (John 1:33)
* He Equipped and enabled them to minister to one another by giving them different
gifts according to His will. (1Cor.12:4-11)
* He teaches us about the secrets of the kingdom of God, when we seek Him first and
   follow Him. (Mat.6:33,Luk.12:31)
* He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.  (Heb.11:6)

Isn't it wonderful that God has called us to serve Him and to be a part of His plan!
We have a purpose on this earth, and it is to serve Him. To proclaim the good news
of His salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. He wants all mankind to come to
repentance and be saved. (Mat.4:17)

The Year of the Lord's Favor..."Do you want to get well?"

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has annointed me,
To preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God,
To comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion--
To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of
a spirit of despair.  (Isaiah 61:1-3,49:8-9)

God has spoken concerning the coming salvation through His Son Jesus Christ and
has fulfilled his promise.

(Luke 4:16-21)
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went
into the synogogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read.
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where
it is written:
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach
good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclain the
 year of the Lord's favor."
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down.
The eyes of everyone in the synogogue were fastened on him, and he began by saying
to them, "Today this scripture is fullfilled in your hearing."

Amen. Praise God! What God promises us... He always fulfills.
God has sent His Son Jesus Christ so that through Him we can be healed and free.
Those who feel that there is no hope can see true hope...Those who feel they have no
value to God...will see that Jesus died for them personally. He came to free us from
our guilt for the sins we have committed, and better yet...to give us an abundant life.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they might
have life and have it to the full. (John 10:10)

Do you need deliverance from your bondage? Do you want to get well? (John 4:6)
Ask God to help you and then open your heart. Trust in Him, knowing that He is the only
One who can set you free. Ask Him to forgive your sins, and live your life for Him.
God Promised: I will extend peace to her like a river. (Isaiah 66:12)

Jesus has invited us all to come to Him:
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
(Mathew 11:28-29)

Because He Lives

Because He Lives/ God Who Holds the Future

Yes He Lives! Let us tune in on the powerful message of this song title,
"Because He Lives I can Face Tomorrow." As we reflect on these words,
think about His love. He cared about us so much that He wants what is best for us all.
Come to Him and take hold of this gracious gift of life through his Son Jesus Christ.
He is the One who will help us in the time of our need. We will have tribulation...but God
will uphold us. For those who belong to Jesus Christ, He has given us these sure words:

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out
  of my hand. My father, who has given them to me, is greater than all;
No one can snatch them out of my Father's hand."  (John 10:28-29)

What about you? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
(read Romans10:6-13, John 3:16-18)

God Who Holds The Future

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink;
or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food,
and the body more important than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable
than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow.
They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his
splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass
of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire,
will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’
or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your
heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be
given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow
will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
(Mathew 6:25-34)

Note: The flowers is not lilies, I took this picture at the park, I wish I can
find lilies. I just imagine some kind of white flowers that will do good
to the verse that I selected. God bless you all!

Feeling like God is Distant?

I don't know about you, but sometimes in my life I start asking,
"Where is God?". I begin to feel like He is nowhere to be found. He's not answereing
my prayers anymore. Has He forgotten me? Nothing seems to be going right for me.
I wish I never moved here...and the list go on and on.

There may be some reasons why:
First, we must examine ourselves. The scripture says in Psalms 139:23-24:
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Second, we may have wrong motives?  (James 4:3)
When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you
may spend what you get on your pleasures.

Third, Everything in God's time! We have to wait for it patiently.
"In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you."
(Isa.49:8, 2 Cor.6:2)

When I am feeling this way, I begin to remember the great things God has done for me.
This really helps me to stay focused on Him, so that I don't allow doubt to affect my
relationship with Him. No matter what my circumstances are...I will trust in Him and
always know that He loves me!

When David was waiting for God to help him, He remembered his happy times with God.
 Let's look at Psalms:

Then I thought, "To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High."
I will remeber the deeds of the Lord; Yes, I will remeber your miracles of long ago.
I will meditate on all your works, and consider all your mighty deeds.
(77:10-12,5,143:5)

I remember your ancient laws, O Lord. And I find comfort in them.  (119:50)
I will listen to what God the Lord will say, He promises peace to his people, his saints.
(85:8,55:13-14)

* Let us continue to be faithful in prayer to God. Try to cherish the years when He has
done mighty things in your life. Don't let the devil trick you. Don't give up on God.
